Professor of Speech & Language
Lucy Henry has been a Professor of Speech and Language at City St George's, University of London since 2013. She is a qualified Clinical Psychologist with many years of research expertise in the development of memory, language, higher order thinking (executive function), and witness skills in neurodiverse children and young people.
Lucy's degree and PhD, from the Universities of Bristol and Oxford respectively, were both in Psychology. She started her academic career lecturing in Developmental Psychology at the University of Reading, subsequently moving to the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience, King's College London, to train as a Clinical Psychologist on a Wellcome Research Fellowship. Lucy's current research concerns the development of executive functioning, language, reading, narrative skills, and Hebb repetition learning in neurodiverse children and young people.
